iTerm2にてsshのシェルスクリプトを実行したところ「No user exists for uid 501」との表示が出て、少しびっくりしました。
解決方法は簡単で、iTerm2のウインドウを一度閉じて、再度開くだけでした。
iTerm2の小さな不具合のようです。
macOSが一度ハングアップしたあとのメッセージだったので、ユーザ情報が破損したと思い少々焦りました。
